10 Questions to Fight Stagnation

I have found nothing more effective to fight stagnation than asking ourselves the right question.

Questions prompt a response in our brains that begs for action to be taken, for results to be pursued. Feeling stagnant in an area of life? Here are ten questions to get things moving.

Relationships

Who are people nearest to me that have the most positive impact on my life?

Who should I spend less time with?

Physical Health

What is a current habit that is hindering progress on my health goals?

Is my current motivation for getting or remaining healthy strong enough?

Mental/Intellectual Health

Is the current pace at which you live your life sustainable?

What is one valuable thing you've learned in the last week?

Spiritual Health

What do you lean on that is bigger than yourself?

What percentage of time do you feel hopeful about the future versus feeling despair?

Finances

What are my financial values?

How healthy is my relationship with money?

These questions may not solve all of your problems, but they can move you in the right direction.

Action

Discuss one of these questions with someone in your life you trust.

Question

Which category above were you almost hesitant to read the questions in? Focus on those answers most.
